Our Review of the Burley Hitch
All Burley bike trailers come with the standard Burley Forged Hitch, but if you want to keep all your bikes ready for trailering, an extra hitch comes in handy. The Forged Hitch makes attaching your Burley Bicycle Trailer to your bike easy as pie whether you have a quick release or nutted axle. Installation with a quick release axle requires no tools - simply remove the quick release, place the hitch, and reassemble the quick release. Installation with a nutted axle requires a wrench.
The Forged Hitch does not fit breezer dropouts. If you have a bike with a breezer style dropout, choose either the Burley Alternative Hitch for 126mm x 135 mm axles or the Burley Alternative Hitch for 140mm x 160 mm axles.
